Before you come to your music consultation, consider the following:
-Who do you want music for? Grandparents? Parents? Does the officiant need music or will he/she magically appear before the ceremony begins? Knowing how many people will process down the aisle is vitally important to our coordination of music.
-You can see our full repertoire list on our website, and listen to many sound samples. Even if you don't know precisely which pieces you would like, you can let us know which ones you enjoyed the most and we can go from there.
-If you have a ceremony order, even a tentative one, please bring an extra copy so we can know the events of your wedding.
-Do you have a place for us to sit where we can see what is going on? We also require a tent or covering for outdoor events.
-Will you need to get music selections approved by your church? Are you going to list them in your program? If so, please be sure to get the correct spelling of title and composer.
-If you would like a special song, please request this and provide us with a piano score before the consultation so we can play it for you at the consultation.
-Do you want someone with you at the consultation to help you choose music? Some brides or grooms come alone, others together, and others with a best friend, parent, or child.
-We are happy to make suggestions, but the clearer you are about what you want (in terms of mood, style of music, etc), the better we can tailor our suggestions.
-Last but not least- Enjoy it! Sit back and be serenaded by beautiful live music. If you want to hear anything, or hear it again, just ask! (Bring tissues if you are the sentimental type..)
