Master of the Camera

Our chief photographer, Adam, not only has the artistic eye, but also knows the ins and outs of the mechanics of the cameras. He has been teaching photography classes and how to effectively use "your" new digital camera that you may have received for a Christmas gift and haven't quite figured out yet. He recently drew a crowd of 120 students at the beautiful Puyallup Public Library. They had to open the overflow doors to expand the room. Watch our website info for upcoming classes. www.nwrcphoto.com....only you will be able to take those great shots of your honeymoon!!!!

What to look for in your quest for a photographer...

1. That you actually like the person who will be photographing your wedding. Make sure that the person you meet with is the one that will actually photograph your wedding. Some photographers have a staff of photographers. You want a photographer you are comfortable with, because if you are not, the camera can pick that up! Getting a breathtaking portraits is so much easier when you and the photographer become friends!

2. You should like most of their portfolio images. These are the best of all their work, and this represents the best of what you will probably get for style and quality.

3. Their pricing is very important of course. Make sure to know what is and isn't included so there aren't any suprises. All inclusive packages are great. DON'T FORGET--PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE THERE WHEN ALL OF THE FLOWERS, FOOD, AND GUESTS ARE GONE. Budgets are important, but photography is not a place to skimp. Believe it or not, most photographers are not rich! Equipment, computers, training, advertising, etc are very expensive to keep up with. And a great photographer will give you every drop of physical, mental, and emotional energy through out your wedding day. We truly slave for every penny because we enjoy the artistic challenge.

three Steps to A Perfect Star Gaze

To add glamour and get your eyes ready for their close-up, try a three-colour approach to eye shadow.

1. Dust a light hue over the lid to open up your eyes.
2. Sweep a medium shade in the crease of your evelid and along the
lower lash line to create depth.
3. Then use a darker hue along the outer edge and sweep slightly
past the corners of your eyes to achieve a sultry, smoky effect.
4. Don't forget the mascara
5. For maximum drama, prime your lashes with new Lengthy Lashes
before applying mascara.

why hire a makeup artist?

It's the biggest day of your life, right? You've been planning it since you were 5 - the dress, the flowers, the chapel (or maybe the beach!), the food, the cake, the reception, and you finally found THE GUY!!! Only you're starting to get a little overwhelmed by all the work. It's almost a part time job to plan and organize a wedding these days, and anything you can do to pamper yourself, you totally deserve.

My suggestion is to hire a makeup artist. Make sure that after all the hard work and sleepless nights leading up to your big day, you will still look your absolute best. And the best part is, you won't have to perform that task yourself. You can sit back, relax, and let someone else be responsible for making sure your eyeliner is on straight! It's one of the smallest checks you'll write, and one of the biggest impacts your dollar will make. After all, as important as it is, it's still only one day, 24 little hours, and then the moment that took a year to plan is suddenly over. But long after the guests have left, and you forget about how that "one uncle" got a little tipsy and embarrassed you over the microphone to your new inlaws, your pictures will live on and on. Having a proffessional makeup artist that knows how to translate your beauty onto film will last the rest of your life in your pictures.

Honeymoon Tips

Tips for Planning your Honeymoon

1) Plan 6-8 months in advance. We recommend this for two reasons, the first being that you make sure you get the resort and room category you want, or if interested in a Cruise, the ship and cabin of your choice. Especially in Summer months when its prime vacation season or over Holiday periods, resorts and ships can fill up fast.
Second, it allows you to pay a deposit to hold your space and then make payments over a period of time rather than paying one large sum of money all at once.

2) Use a professional travel agent. This is suppose to be the most special week of your life, don't take a chance of making mistakes over the internet. Use a professional who will listen to what you want in your trip and help to put that package together for you. By using a travel agent you also have a live person you have a relationship with to stay in touch with in regards to your trip. Internet companies don't want you to call them, that is why they are called "Internet companies" and we feel its better to have that direct person you can go to for questions or problems.

3) Use a travel agent that does not charge service fees. The Cruise lines, Package companies, etc that every travel agent uses, pays the travel agency a commission. Why use someone that is going to tack on an additional fee to the cost of your trip. Always ask if the agency you are considering charges a fee and if they do, move on and find one that doesn't. We do not charge service fees if you choose to give us a try.

4) Check a travel agency out with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB holds their members to a higher standard and an ethical code of business conduct. You can find out if a company has complaints against them and if so if they have been resolved.
We are members of the Better Business Bureau.

5) You and your fiance should let the travel agency know all the destinations that interest you, a budget range and the length of stay. This is information the travel agent will need in pricing your trip and will expedite the process. If you are choosing to stay at a resort you will also need to decide if you want All Inclusive or Non-All Inclusive resorts priced out if they are offered at your destination of choice. If a travel agency doesn't want to price more than one destination option for you if you have more than one, then find someone else. This is your trip and they are working for you.

Hi Dylan,

My girlfriends and I were there this past Saturday for a Bachelorette party. We had a great time!! The Bachelorette, Laura, didn't wasn't excited about going but once we got her there she had a great time, just what she needed! The guys are absolutely gorgeous and they are great at making any woman feel sexy. Very personable so we could chat with them too which makes women feel that much better. Our personal favorites were Jonny, Antonio (lap dances in particular), Joey and then one more we didn't get his name but we've decided to call him Superman. Very tall, thin, cut body, short curly hair and a baby face. You should do a superman routine with him - the women would go wild!!!

By the way - were you one of the dancers on Saturday - if you are which one were you? I just love your voice and curious whether you look like you sound.

You guys are doing great! Maybe you'll be able to open a show in San Diego one day - LA is a little too far for girls night out!

Thanks for all the fun.
Maria B.

What fun!!! It took Jana (AJ) a little bit of time to settle in to the
atmosphere, but she enjoyed the club and the show. It is ALWAYS a great time
.... Your lap dances were phenomenal. You are amazing. I am so drawn to your
smell---what ever it is you wear has this intense lingering aroma.
...and your doorman was HYSTERICAL...he wants to dance so badly, you
thoughtfully highlighted him --- gave him his glory --- man did he go for it
LOL

Memories of Value

As your wedding day approaches, you are left with many important decisions. Most of which are based upon budget and the value you associate with that product or service. Many Brides seem to overlook the value and importance of capturing the moments that are experienced on that day. Can you put a value on your wedding day memories?

At A+ Media Creations, we realize this is a "Once in a Lifetime" event which is filled with emotions and consider it the MOST important product and service that a bride can depend on. Sharing the memories of that day is priceless, and should be among the top of your "to do list" in planning your wedding.

At A+ Media Creations, we specialize in capturing the moments filled with the wonderful emotions that make theses memories last a lifetime. A Slideshow introduces the history of both the Bride & Groom, growing up, meeting each other, and how they fell in love. The ceremony highlights unite the couple as one, which completes the love story with scenes taken place only a few moments before the reception. Your guests will be entertained and impressed with the addition of your ceremony highlights with your slideshow.

As photography captures a moment in time, the video production displays the emotions as they unfold during your special day. We transform the video taken from your photo session into a dynamic "Music Video" formatted to your favorite slow song. The editing performed on your video makes your DVD entertaining and enjoyable for all to see, over and over again.

Our classy photography will take you from the classic "Getting Ready" shots to the Ceremony, to Formals shot with Bridal Party and Family, and candid Reception images will put the icing on the cake. We add some effects to selected images to give you sepia tones, black & whites, soft focus, and vignettes. Our years of experience and friendly personalities will make you feel comfortable on cameras, helping you to relax and enjoy the moment, thus creating a natural atmosphere of shooting which will be seen in the quality of our work.

Make your wedding the most memorable event to cherish forever,
Make A+ Media Creations your choice for seeing that dream come true!
