When I was planning my wedding day 6 years ago, I only had $7000 to work with, which, by the way, was the same amount of money my sister had 4 years before me. Needless to say, I was constantly stressed out over trying to balance everything I wanted with the reality that $7000 wasn't going to get me there! The wedding industry has become a lot more commercial over the last 10 years and here you are, with a similar budget to what I had 6 years ago! Try not to stress out as much as I did :)

Give yourself some time to research, get some referrals from friends, and don't be afraid to ask professionals if they have any specials they can offer you. Your special day is going to come, the details will get worked out, and most importantly, the entire reason for the stress and planning will be yours when you both say "I Do." Try not to loose sight of the meaning to your special day - actually getting married to your best friend!
