UPDATE JUNE 18, 2007
Last week Pam made a Tropical Wedding Bouquet for one of her brides. Well...it seems it was a huge hit among the almost married and we are getting many request to see what it looks like.
As some of you may know...most of our flowers are not purchased
through the local floral wholesalers. Since we have an import/export
license and are well known by some of the best flower growing farms in the world,we have the ability to go to them directly.
How does this benefit you? Well...here's how. In two words, "FRESHNESS" and "SAFETY." Since we buy our flowers from places like Equador, Columbia, Isrial, Holland and Thailand...because they do not use the chemicals that growers use in the US. We know they have been cut from the vine in most cases a day or two before they arrive to our store. Unlike some wholesalers do which is to "Ice Pack" them...we know for certain the age of the cut flower. Ice packing can add weeks to the age of a flower...this is why some re sellers flowers just won't hold up past the ceremony.
As for "SAFETY" ...well, the health and well being of our clients are a "Prime Directive" and...issues such as allergies to certain chemicals can be a problem to someone who is or may be unaware of a reaction to a flower once it's been cut, packaged and delivered. Not all flowers are safe to handle. If you want more information on florals that may present problems at events don't hesitate to contact Ms. Pomela.

The reason for this is if I havea problem with chemicals so may you in the long run, recently, had a bride who had ordered some items off line, and had a reaction to some of the dyes used in her even silk flowers,we do not dye or paint our flowers, hope this helps some brides out there.
Much Happiness
