Look Your Best on Your Wedding Day

As the bride, all eyes will be on you on your wedding day. You will want to make sure that every inch of you is worthy of "close-up" attention! Here are some important things to consider as you prepare for your wedding:

USE PROPER SKIN CARE Give nature a helping hand by starting a basic skin care program at least 1-2 months prior to your wedding. Daily care, a morning and evening regimen of cleansing, freshening and moisturizing, primes your face for the sheer makeup look every blushing bride should have!

USE WATERPROOF MASCARA Undoubtedly, this is one of the happiest moments of your life, and you may shed a few tears of joy. The last thing you want is streaks of black on your face during pictures.

USE LIPLINER AND LIPSTICK Create the ultimate in kissable lips. Select a lipstick rich in moisturizers and emollients. Line first, use brush to apply color, and re-apply for staying power. Add a touch of gloss for shine. Avoid frosted lipstick.

USE TRANSLUCENT FACE POWDER Sets makeup and provides a matte finish. Helps control oil break- through and shine. Always select powder in the shade closest to your natural skin tone. Pressed powder is portable, so use it throughout the day to pat away shine (especially just before you pose for pictures!). Shake applicator after each use to prevent powder glaze and oil buildup.

WEAR THE CORRECT FOUNDATION SHADE Gives skin a smooth, even-toned finish and guards against environmental elements. Apply with fingertips or sponge using sweeping strokes, blending well, especially along the jawline and hairline. Do not select a foundation shade to match the back of your hand. Select one which closely blends along the jawline.

USE COLOR HARMONY Color adds the sparkle to your bridal look. To harmonize, simply choose makeup and wardrobe attire with a single undertone, either vibrantly cool, or radiantly warm. Make sure you harmonize lip, cheek and nail colors.

USE CORRECT BLUSHER APPLICATION Blusher should provide a soft glow, never streaked or blotchy. For sheer and even application, use a blusher brush, and begin applying at the base of the hairline near the ear, blending forward using feathery strokes. Lightly dust face powder over blusher to tone and blend.

WEAR A FRAGRANCE A woman's fragrance is her most intimate trademark, the invisible part of herself that makes a lasting impression on other people's senses. The scent you select is your own personal signature. Never overdo your aroma. Make sure your fragrance doesn't arrive before you do! Use fragrance-layering techniques and apply body creams, dusting powder and colognes. The scent you select will either be silent and suggestive, feverish and magical, or romantic and sensual.

WEAR MAKEUP Use the tricks of the beauty trade to accentuate, enhance and define your best features. Glamour can be applied to compliment any face shape and complexion, regardless of facial contours or bone structure. Minor imperfections and blemishes may be neatly corrected by using a concealer. The catchword is experiment prior to your wedding date, so you know exactly how beautiful you will look.

USE A PROFESSIONAL Beautiful skin care and glamour isn't just something you buy - it's something you learn. I don't just sell skin care, I teach you through personal instruction. Learning the right beauty regimen customized for your skin type and proper glamour application will guarantee you'll look your loveliest on your wedding day.
