1. Pick out your favorite outfit that just doesnt fit anymore as a motivator that you were once that size and are determined to get back there.
2. Start logging your food. Even though your wedding day will require a lot of extra planning, the first step in weight loss and not weight gain is to monitor how much is going in your mouth.
3. Buy a heart rate monitor to make sure that your cardio workouts are efficient and effectiveyou do not have time to waste!
4. Take measurements: Weight, body fat, and girth measurements. Done correctly, numbers do not lie. You can chart your progress and success scientifically.
5. Clean out your kitchen and cabinets of all the food you know you shouldnt have. Do not sabotage your success with temptation (especially in those stressful eating times).
6. Outline a variety of food choices that are well balanced and satisfying. Write it or print it out and stick it on your refrigerator. Put one inside your cabinets as well.
7. Schedule your workouts. If you do not make it a part of your day, you will likely find reasons to skip it. Scheduling it, commit to it, and youre more likely honor it.
8. Make sure to get in at least 3 days of resistance training and 4 days of cardio. You want to build muscle to increase your metabolism so you burn more calories at rest. Fit in some calorie blasters on other days. Exercise will also help in dealing with the stress and frenzyuse it to take a break and stay sane.
9. Post pictures of wedding ads and bodies that inspire you to remember why you are working so hard. It is possible to make changes. There is no magicjust hard work!
10. HIRE A TRAINER to keep you motivated and HONEST, not to mention safe and effective. With all the best intentions, an uneducated exerciser can see little results if they make uninformed choices. Find a highly educated and qualified trainer with multiple and current certifications to implement all of these actions.
