As a professional http://www.hawaiiweddingemcee.com">Master of Ceremonies, I frequently get asked about original ideas to help personalize my clients' http://ninjaentertainment.com/blog/category/weddings/">Hawaii weddings. After all, after investing much time & money into creating a signature "look" to the event, most brides-to-be don't want the presentation itself to be average and ordinary. So depending on your tastes, style, and interest, I can help you create fun activities that get your audience involved AND are a reflection of who you are.

One such couple, Christy & Kris Pascual, who were happily married in July 2008 at the http://www.sheraton-waikiki.com" target="_blank">Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, liked playing golf, and many of their guests played golf too. So we incorporated that into the wedding with the Golf Game/Putting Challenge. Simply put, the idea is to set up a small portable putting green on the dancefloor, and if the guests wanted to see Christy & Kris kiss, they needed to hit a hole-in-one! Instead of tapping the glasses to get the newlyweds kiss, they were encouraged to make a putt. What made it more fun was that, the farther out you are, and if you made it in, the longer the kiss would be! Therefore, if you putt right from the edge of the hole and make it in, it would be a very short peck. If you putt from the far end, it would be a much longer kiss.
The activity was a lot of fun and a hit among the guests! Even the non-golfers had a good time as they watched some great golfers make (and miss) putts. And because the newlyweds and many of the guests played golf, the activity was much more meaningful than simply tapping the glasses to get the newlyweds to kiss.
When planning the presentation for your own Hawaii wedding, think about your interests, likes, and dislikes. Use your creativity to come up with unique ways to tie those interests into traditional moments like the bouquet giveaway, cake-cutting, and toasts. Come up with original ways to get your audience involved. Or, you could simply http://www.ninjaentertainment.com">contact me for help. I'd love to sit down with you and help you create a party that's just as fun, unforgettable, and unique as you are.

Awesome and fun best describes the party that JEN & MARK had last night! After months of planning and preparing for their big day, it finally came, and the results were quite spectacular! From the moment the first guests arrived, we created a very positive energy in the room that grew as the night progressed, and when the dancefloor opened, we had a full floor of dancers all the way to closing time!
With a personalized Grand Entrance based on Sportscenter and the NCAA Final Four...

There are many reasons why a professional MC may “cost” a lot of money. But the truth is, the professional Master of Ceremonies may be one of the most important investments you will ever make.
The truth about costs
Many brides we speak to initially have asked a friend or relative to host their wedding reception. On the face of it, it makes sense: that person knows you personally, may be funny, and may be comfortable speaking to a group of friends. Most importantly, he or she is FREE. But as the saying goes, sometimes you truly get what you pay for. Consider these:
Your friend or relative may be funny in front of you and your close-knit group of friends/coworkers. But will they be comfortable in front of 100 people they barely know?
Will you be comfortable with what they may say or do to get the guests to laugh? The dirty in-joke they always tell among friends may be funny, but will your grandmother and parents feel comfortable hearing it at your reception?
Many local family/friend MCs rely on embarrassing the bride & groom to elicit a laugh. Do you want to potentially be the butt of endless jokes and humiliating stories? Will you be comfortable if your most intimate secrets become public?
Does the MC have the experience to properly announce the formalities of a wedding? Will he know how to introduce the cake-cutting so that everyone’s attention is focused on the cake? How will he get the single people to the dancefloor for the bouquet toss? If this is their first and only wedding they have performed at, they may not have the skills to announce the formalities with confidence.
Does he have the experience to handle unplanned surprises that may arise? If the videographer needs five minutes to set up the projector for the slideshow, will your host know how keep your guests’ attention? If your guests go home early because there wasn’t enough interest in the activities, it becomes a very expensive situation.
Does he actually want to do this, or would he rather not worry about it and ENJOY THE PARTY AS A GUEST? Some family MCs only take the job because they will feel guilty and obligated if they say “No” to your request; otherwise, they simply want to relax and enjoy your party as much as your other friends and family. Other MCs may not realize the importance of their role, and may not take your wedding seriously.
It’s truly a shame when a bride & groom invest thousands of dollars into their wedding and allow an amateur to run the entire presentation. After all, if the guests go home early because they were bored or because there just wasn’t enough interest...

So you may be wondering why a wedding MC and DJ is talking about shoes...Well, part of my philosophy is that, on your wedding day, you should be as STRESS-FREE as possible. To that end, wearing comfortable shoes will make the day much more bearable. As part of my blog update, I have started a new feature entitled "Wedding Tip Of The Day", in which the tips will help make your wedding day much more FUN, UNIQUE, STRESS-FREE, and MEMORABLE. Today's tip falls under the heading "Stress-Free" and deals with shoes. Read about it on my blogspace at http://ninjaentertainment.blogspot.com , then visit my website at http://www.ninjaentertainment.com ! Have a fabulous day!
