Wedding Ceremony Music - 3 vital songs

When it comes down to it ...choosing your wedding ceremony music is about 3 vital songs. Around that you can choose music for what theme or personality you want to bring across to your audience. For example, choosing a Traditional theme.

1. The Processional for the bridal party - Pachabel's Canon in D

2. Bride's Entrance song - Wagner's Wedding March ( "Here Comes the Bride)

3. Recessional for everyone exiting - Mendelssohn's Wedding March

4. Optional Background Music - Bach's - Joy of a Man's Desire

Upbeat Classical, Mellow Classical (Romantic) , Hawaiian or choose Contemporary and fill it in with your Favorites. Top it off with the Prelude in Classical...then End with a Postlude in Contemporary.

Having a variety in song choices helps to create a well rounded listening experience for your guests. Giving brides the option to choose what songs they want for their wedding ceremony whether its background music during a Hawaiian lei exchange, lighting of the Unity candle or sand ceremony, really helps define that moment...

I personally like the challenge of learning new music for my expanding harp repertoire. For special song requests, it helps to have a window of 30 to 45 days to learn it...and it gives me a good excuse to shop on iTunes :) It helps to keep me current.

Thank you and Happy Planning!
