This years collection of designers wedding and prom dresses is outstanding.
We are very pleased to say we have brought back "Mona Lisa" from Maggie Sottero designs, as well as brought in the new Ambrosia collection which is stunning.

We have changed how we sell in the store. We have found that many brides are waiting a little longer to purchase for several reasons. We have therefore made two important changes. One we are working with designers that do have inventory or have select "quick ship" dresses ready to be delivered in weeks rather than months.
Also and most importantly we are selling dresses off the rack. We have changed the store layout from a style arrangement to sizes and then styles within the sizes. This means that the dress you try on today may not be here tomorrow. Rest assured we will have every silhouette and can often borrow a dress to try on, but we can not guarantee a style will still be here when you come. So shop the rest and then come see the best.

And the winners are!

The National Bridal market was held in Chicago on Oct 2 to the 7th. The prestigious DEBI awards were presented at the black tie affair on Monday night. All five of our designers were nominated and three won. Pronovias was nominated for the better Bridal group. Maggie Sottero designs, Casablanca bridal and Mori Lee were all nominated for the moderate price point in bridal gowns, with the winner Casablanca. Mori Lee also won for Quinceaera and Maggie Sottero won for their Flirt prom dresses.

We were very excited to be sitting at the Maggie Sottero table and spoke to their designers Midgley and Sabrina Toy. Great Fun.

With regards to Casablanca were are pleased to announce that for the second year in a row we received the Gold award from them. They work with over 1500 retailers all over the world but only 25 achieve the gold standard.

Due to the higher costs for fuel and therefore shipping plus the decrease in the value of the dollar compared to the Chinese currency, there are price increrases coming. Save money by ordering before the first of September.

Call them Bridal dresses, wedding dresses, or bridal gowns; they have at least 3 things they should do.
While there may not be a perfect dress for you unless you have it custom made, we believe these dresses might serve you best if they do the following.

First- and foremost, do you feel pretty! How you feel in the dress is a very personal thing. Your best friend or Mom can not tell you how you feel, only you know the feel of the fabric, the fit and how it makes you feel pretty.

Second - Does it fit your personal style? Do you like sparkle for the day or more a lacey look. Is it soft and flowing for an outside wedding or more traditional for the church? Does it express you?

Third - Does it minimize what you what to and enhance what you feel is your positives.
Different silhouettes will showcase different parts of you. The red carpet had several mermaids styles and these are wonderful if your hourglass shape is what you wish to show off. It will not make you appear to be hourglass shape if you are not. An A-line will give you a more flattering appearance to most any body type.
