Is It Important That Your DJ Has Worked Previously At Your Banquet Room?

Not necessarily. While we feel it is important for our DJ's to work in many different rooms in many different counties, that is so they are experienced to be able to succeed in many different situations.

As a company, we have worked virtually every major hotel, banquet facility and country club in the Northwest. We have seen many of them turn over their banquet captains and even ownership many times.

All we really need is a six foot, skirted table (to hide the cables) and power within 25 feet or so. Preferably we are right next to the dance floor with no guests seated within 20 feet or so of our speakers. If you seat guests right on our speakers, they don't enjoy the evening much. While our volume is constantly monitored, it is at a level to project to the entire room and may be a little loud for those directly in front of the speakers.

Other than that, the success of your event is much more dependent on the day of your event, time of day, whether alcohol is served and hosted and who you invite.

Someone once said that every successful party needs two things-- great music and good lighting that is properly adjusted to set the mood. We'll take care of the first if you take care of the lights!
