Like the man you are marrying, it’s important to love your ring. Remember that man is also your best friend – you can tell him anything. Now there are ways to approach this situation.

If you love the diamond and it’s absolutely gorgeous to you, but not the setting – simply tell him after wearing it a few days/weeks it’s not your style after all. If you don’t like the entire ring all together – start off by telling him how special his proposal was and how it was sweet of him to find a ring on his own, but say its not what you visualized wearing long term.

He may be a little hurt and disappointed, but he would love your honesty and want you to be happy.
