I know that the holidays are a favorite time to "announce" your engagement officially to family and friends. A few things to remember.
If you're planning for a wedding in 2007 some things need to be addressed very quickly, some you can put off if you have to. Being a hyper overcompensating procrastinator, I know how easy it is to put off things. It's ok, if you know what biggies you need now.
1. A Quality Wedding Planner (if you have a true professional, you can stop here)
2. Ceremony/Reception facility (READ the fine print...WHAT...NO BATHROOMS??)
3. Professional Wedding Photographer...an experienced professional makes your day fun!
4. Caterer...easy to communicate with?
5. Cake...there's Pretty Cakes, Delicious Cakes...and both in one. Mmmmmmm
6. Florist...I do have thoughts...but won't here.
7. Video...got something new in the works!!
Yup...there's a lot more. But really...a great wedding planner will take care of things you aren't even aware of at this point.
