Aloha everyone!

We have been getting a lot of calls and e-mails from both vendors and clients alike asking us if we could tell them more about Teley's history as an entertainer/DJ. So in turn we decided to write it here so that everyone can see it whenever they want! His story is a little extensive, however if you read it all we have confidence that you will realize that everything that he has done since childhood, was in preparation for meeting you and DJ'ing your special event!

Introducing Teley Brandon,
Teley was born and raised in the big city of Chicago were he first realized his dream of being one of the best special event entertainers in the state! Teley DJ’d his first wedding at the ripe old age of 15, and won his first state wide dance competition the following year! Teley began working with weddings at his first job with Modern Tuxedo, a formalwear company in Chicago. It was there he familiarized himself with the planning involved in special events. He began to develop his talents when he was discovered by Russ H, the owner of Chicago’s number one interactive DJ company. In the following years he performed for hundred’s of special events including a Vogue Magazine fashion show, Victoria’s Secrets grand store openings, The Gap, radio station Kiss103.5, and Chicago’s B96 Summer bash for over 70,000 people. Now he is a professional entertainer / DJ that specializes in audience participation as opposed to "just playing music". He has, through the many companies that he has worked with over the years, had the opportunity to compete with great success in many national Dj and dancing competitions between Chicago and the Islands of Hawaii.

One of his most defining characteristics as an entertainer is the fact that over many years of experience and being trained by DJ legends, he has developed his own unique interactive Dj style! This style has proven on every occasion to be a huge success!! Once he began to integrate these techniques with his mobile entertainment business the response was overwhelming. Interactive mobile DJ-ing is Teley’s own exclusive style which he has introduced to Oahu after seeing a huge opportunity in the wedding & special event market here in Hawaii.

In in his career as an entertainer, he has had the pleasure of DJ-ing for a great variety of special events ranging from twenties sock-hops, to retirement parties, school dances to modern day clubs ,and his personal favorite wedding receptions, which make up about 80% of his business. This has, over time, trained Teley thoroughly in the art of versatility when performing for more specialized events. In addition, it has taught him overall resourcefulness when conforming to each individual’s idea of what they want their perfect event be like. With that being said, keep in mind that each of his clients gets to determine what kind or how much interactiveness is wanted during their unique special event. We at Grand Finale Productions take an active role in guiding each of our clients through their decision making process, utilizing our experience, and skill to mold the perfect night for you as well as your friends and family to enjoy. We do this for example by never telling you simply “what we do” rather Teley always take the extra time to ask you “what would you like us to do?” and This will insure that he will be the best Dj that he can be for you on your special day.

Teleys Music
His music library consists of over 7,000 individual song titles, which are all digitally mastered in CD format. In addition to that library we also provide a second music collection on a computer hard drive which in itself has over 10,000 song titles. All of which are available within a few seconds of any special song request. The size of Teley’s music library is quite substantial however; above all else Teley is able to pride himself in knowing how to use it. Teley hand picked and reviewed each and every song that he uses before adding it to the Grand Finale Productions music collection. Teley is also one of a very select few DJ’s that has developed the unique talent of seamless mixing! For example 90% of mobile DJ’s do the bare minimum by simply playing one song until it’s over, and then playing the next song after a second of silence! This in our professional opinion breaks both the rhythm of the music, and the energy of the audience. What we do is continue the exact rhythm by mixing two songs together thus eliminating the pause between songs, and simultaneously building on the energy of my audience.
