That's right... Continuing Education for DJ's. Alot of people don't realize that there are at least three associations that DJ's can join to hone their performance skills. In addition to the associations, there are several DJ websites that offer online courses to help improve their performances as well as help grow their business.

As in any other profession, DJ's need to hone their skills to remain competitive. The professional DJ will read trade magazines, attend the Mobile Beat DJ Convention at Las Vegas, join the American DJ Association, read websites and blogs, practice, and exchange ideas with their colleagues.

Wedding professionals are just that; professionals. Photographers have their association. Videographers have theirs. Caterers have theirs too.

The purpose of this blog? To share with you the fact that DJ's are wedding professionals too. Remember, on the day of your wedding, we are there from your Grand Entrance to your Last Dance... long after your emcee, photographer, videographer, caterer, florist, baker, and everyone else has left the building.
