In keeping with the theme of ways to add personal touches to your big day, I'm addressing a long standing tradition and offering some fresh ways to approach it.

Something Blue
... represents loyalty and faithfulness. This symbolism dates back to Biblical times, when blue stood for purity and constancy. Brides often choose to wear a blue garter to keep with this tradition or blue ribbons in their hair. If you want to strive for a more unique way to honor this tradition, Violets represent loyalty and faithfulness, and can be incorporated into your bouquet, or pressed and put in a locket.
