True, I'm sure for the holidays, we all had some trendy big-ticket items on our lists (Uggs, X-Box 360, Nook, all come to mind), but sometimes it's the unique, little surprises that make gift giving (and receiving) the most fun!

In my case, though I honestly will enjoy the Chukar Cherries, my favorite Port Wine, the Delta Massaging Shower head, and new Merrill Boots, the most uniquely delightful gift is a lunch box. Really. Something about the mix of nostalgia, practicality and dainty, eco-friendly design just struck the perfect chord. I adore the bamboo spork, the shiny aluminum exterior, the potential to snugly tuck some of my favorite snacky treats into the mini-enclosure container. Apparently the whole contraption speaks to both the creative kid in me, and to the professional event organizer I've become (with lunch as the event).

What does this have to do w/ my business? Not much. Although, what a great gift to give to your bridesmaids, at a bridal luncheon. Especially if the authentically dyed, Indian fabric tote and napkin come with it (which I also received for Christmas)! Also, one of the points being: GIVE CREATIVELY. A girl can only stand so many monogrammed, scented candles.
