July 16, 2007 - Houston, TX: At the opening breakfast, NACE National President, Daniel Briones, CPCE announced the coming 50th Year of NACE. In announcing, "The celebration begins, today," Briones unveiled a special NACE logo, honoring the 50th Anniversary Year.

As part of the announcement, Briones unveiled a 50th Anniversary cake, with the able assistance of the famed 'Cake Lady of Soho,' Sylvia Weinstock. Sylvia's company, Sylvia Weinstock Cakes, baked the cake, especially for this occasion.

The Keynote Speaker for the morning festivities was Food TV's Marc Summers, host of Unwrapped and Dinner: Impossible.

Marc's presentation on PASSION!, included video clips, shot, just for NACE, featuring interview footage with Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, and Rachel Ray.
