When you travel out of the country, planning for your honeymoon requires a few extra steps. Be prepared by following these easy tips:
Ask your travel agent if a passport and/or visa are required for your destination.
Your passport and tickets should be in your maiden name. (Change your name after returning home.)
Bring a photocopy of the passport's data page, date and place of issuance, and passport number.
Leave a photocopy of the passport's data page, date and place of issuance, and passport number with a trusted person at home.
Bring extra passport photos in case you need to replace a lost or stolen passport at a U.S. Embassy.
You should return home from your international travels with many wild and interesting stories, follow the above hints so that none of those stories include being stuck trying to get back into the States.
