Having all the people you love and care about in one room at your reception is one of the wonderful aspects of your wedding day. Being able to spend time with each of them may be one of the hardest. With some thoughtful planning, you and your new husband will be able to greet each guest and let them know you are grateful they are celebrating with you.

If you aren't planning on a formal receiving line, a great way to make sure that each guest is greeted is to table hop. Hit each table and say hello. This way you'll work the room and make sure no one is missed. Don't forget to introduce your new spouse to any guests they may not have met before.

Pay attention to out of town guest. They went to an extra effort to get there. Make an extra effort to chat with them so they know you appreciate their attendance.

Mingle on the dance floor. Dancing is a perfect time to work your way through groups of people.

In your quest to make your guests feel welcome, don't forget your new spouse. Celebrate and enjoy your reception together.
