The day of the wedding should be as stress-free as possible. To make your day run smoothly, schedule your day beforehand so time doesn't fly by you.
Don't pull an all-nighter the night before. Wake up early enough to have breakfast and a relaxing shower. If your wedding is in the evening, eat a healthy lunch beforehand. Having a bridesmaid assigned the task of helping to make sure you have food available will make it easier for you to concentrate on getting ready.
Schedule your photographer to take as many pictures as possible before the ceremony. Time passes quickly between the ceremony and reception so plan accordingly.
Plan a few minutes into the day for you and your new spouse to spend alone. Whether on the drive from the ceremony to the reception or at the ceremony venue after everyone has left, take a few minutes to look at each other and enjoy your moment.
At the reception, plan the activities early in the evening. Guests may need to leave early and won't want to miss any of the festivities. Also, close the bar 30-60 minutes before the end.
