Sitting in your cubicle or office for at least eight hours a day, it's easy for your mind to drift occasionally. When wedding plans are on your mind, that drifting can happen all the more often.

Make a schedule and stick to it while working. Try to work on wedding planning only during your 15-minute breaks and lunch.

Work is probably not as exciting as your wedding. Consider asking for a special project that may hold your interest better.

If necessary, take a few vacation days. A couple days off will enable you to meet deadlines. For instance, if invitations must be in the mail by a certain date, this may be a good time to take a day off and get them done. Give enough notice of your intended days off so your workload isn't falling on your co-workers shoulders.

Your wedding party and family are probably pestering you with questions of "what can I do to help?" Instead of your standard response of, "Nothing", delegate to them. They'll be happy to help especially if they know your work is suffering.
