Do I have to have bridesmaids?

I don't know of anyone who would be one.

Congrats!
You don't have to do anything! I know tons of people that don't have bridesmaids. I think you should plan your wedding to fit your needs/ wants. So if you don't want a bridesmaid then that is totally fine.
Good luck planning!

Congratulations on your wedding!

In today's world you can do anything your heart desires!

I have weddings that do not have bridesmaids, but may have flower girl and ring bearers, or no attendants at all. I've also had male attendants on the bride's side and female attendants on the groom's side as they were their closest friends.

The processional and recessional can be orchestrated many ways, so don't worry!

The only thing you have to do, is have a ceremony that is meaningful to the both of you. That means you don't need to fill a space just for appearances. The people standing up with you should be the ones you'll look to for support in your marriage; whether it's a sister, best friend, mom or life-long guy pal, or a combination of them all. Just go with your heart.

My "maid of honor" might end up being my dearest friend, who is male. "Man of Honor"? Not sure how we're going to do that.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You do not have to have bridesmaids. The only person you have to have is a witness. That could he a relative, friend, or anyone you choose. In the end it is all about what you want.
