Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I think it's great when the groom gets involved with gift registries. Here's my tip: Choose your registries wisely - and try to stay with a maximum of 2. Anything more than that can be too much work for your guests. Totally different registeries can be considered - try a home goods store as well as a home improvement store. This idea will appeal to a greater number of guests (and probably the groom as well). For your guests who are looking for something out of the ordinary, 'Honeymoon Registries' are becoming more and more popular. Massages, candlelit dinners on the beach, sunset cruises, oceanview rooms - all can be added to your wish list. A honeymoon registry can be a great 2nd or 3rd alternative.

Limit yourselves to a store each. By registering in more than one place, you give your guests options. However, if you over-register (in one store, or several), you risk the disappointment of not getting those items you really need as you begin a life together.
Hi, Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You can register in both stores. That way you both will be happy, And can choose the gifts that you both like. I think 2-3 Stores is ok. In case one store does't have what you like The other does. I think more than 3 stores is too tacky.
