An hour of games could be a little long. It really depends on your crowd. Are we looking at all 20-somethings, or is there a mix from teens to mature women? For a bunch of fun-loving girlfriends, you could easily play games for an hour, but if great-grandma Jean is attending, you may want to scale it down.
A great way to choose games is to stay on a theme. For exapmle, gameshow inspired activites like $10,000 Pyramid, Jeopardy, or Let's Make a Deal are all fun to spoof.
Keep in mind, that you can do activities, not just games. A wine tasting, mini-cooking class or ice cream bar are all great ways to get everyone involved in the fun.
