Will it be appropriate for the boys to scatter the flowers?

Another really cool idea for including the children in the wedding is to do a family Sand Ceremony.

They are beautiful.

I think the boys would possibly do better as Junior Groomsmen or one to bear your ring, one for his, and one to hold the train of your dress walking down.

Best Wishes!

If your doing a wedding where the groomsmen are already at the front when the bridesmaids walk down the aisle, you could have your boys escort them. There isn't anything wrong with having your boys spread flowers. Do any of your friends have daughters? Maybe they could do the flower spreading why your sons escort them down the aisle

As a florist, I have created a long wide ribbon with spray roses glued on top in a random pattern. Each child would then hold one end with some trailing down. At the wedding the children layed the ribbon upon the atler and then sat down. Best of luck with your planning and let me know if you need any further help. www.alwaysandforevercreationsinc.com

I think having all three involved would be awesome - what a great idea to include them all. At their age they might have a challenge standing for very long in the ceremony, so your thought of inclusion at the beginning works very well. That way they can go sit down if desired.

A special twist on flower bearer would be to have each of them bring a flower down the aisle, that would be added to your bouquet, just before the exchange of rings! It would symbolize all of you coming together as a family; how beautiful.

Absolutely! It is your wedding with your boys. Anything you want is acceptable. Enjoy!

It is perfectly fine for your little boys to spread flowers, and personally I think it would adorable. Do what makes you comfortable.

They can do that or they can act as the Ushers for all guests, and of course for yourself and your families during the processional. Other ways they can actively participate without being a "Flower" Bearer, is to do a reading, or recite a poem, hand out programs, as well as rolling out an aisle runner (if any are applicable of course). They can ultimately lay out the flower petals that are strewn on your aisle way - as long as they are part of your ceremony, they can represent and be a part of just about anything! Good luck!
