How do you limit the number of people on the RSVP card?

I'm trying to control the amount of people attending.

Knowing the correct number of people attending the wedding is very important, I agree with the first comment, have a space for them to fill out, or state Mr. Blank and guest, so they know that it isn't a free for all to bring everyone.

Hopefully, your guests will be aware that only the persons listed on the inner envelope are invited to the wedding, and that they may not invite additional people.

Congratulations!

You may write:

We have reserved ____ seats for you (and then you fill in the blank before sending the card.

Be sure to number your RSVP cards on the back just in case someone sends it back without their names (wouldn't the first) then you know who it came from.

Hello, Congratulations on your upcoming Wedding !

On the RSVP cards write the # of guests that you are inviting to attend. Example # of guests 4. This way you will have control.
