What kind of jewelry do I wear with my dress?

My dress is a long sleeve, off the shoulder dress. The sleeves and bust have many jewels. Should I even wear a necklace. Any help would be great. I'm also wearing my hair half up half down.

An amazing necklace would do perfectly for you, I had the same question for my wedding and decided to check out http://www.idonowidont.com/newsite.php and found an incredible necklace and earings that I bought on that site and wore them down the isle and it didn't take away from the dress!

I worked as a bridal consultant and seamstress for many years. At the shop, the general rule of thumb was: the more glitz on the drss, the less glitz on you. The last thing a bride wants to be is a "support" dummy for a fabulous dress. The dress is the decoration, you are the subject, the star. If your gown has a lot of sparkle, a simple gold/silver chain with a simple pendant looks best. If your gown is simple, do what you will. Your gonna have to like the pictures.

I would think a simple but elegant choker or short necklace with matching earrings would be stunning.
