What necklace should I wear during my wedding?

My grandmother has her heart set on me wearing her pearls during the wedding, but I already have a necklace picked out that matches my dress perfectly. What should I do?

I would wear both, one when you marry, and the other at the reception, I'm sure you're grandmother will be touched.

That is a tough one, but I would so go with the ones you bought to match your gown and use it for ceremony as that is when you will have most of your pictures. You could either use the pearls for the rehearsal diner, for the reception or I've seen them dangling down as part of bouquet.

Hello, Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Another option for you to consider would be that you can Wear both necklaces, Grandmas pearls for the ceremony and Your necklace for the reception. Pearls are beautiful and They look elegant with any wedding dress. This way, You and Grandma will be happy. It seems that that means a lot to Your Grandmother that you wear her pearls on your Big Special Day. Your Grandmother loves you very much.

This is a very tough question and only you can really answer it.

However here are a couple of things to consider while weighing out your options: how close are you to grandma and will her necklace match your dress? Grandmas necklace not only will count as something old it holds sentimental value and can become something you will one day be able to pass down to your daughter.

Just a thought to ponder over!
Good luck and Im sure which ever way you turn grandma will understand.
