Do we need to provide a limo for the wedding party?
We are having our reception at a separate location from the ceremony. My fiance and I are going to have a limo take us from the ceremony to the reception. Do I provide one for the bridesmaids?
When providing transportation options, first look at your budget. If it allows for an added rental, then provide your wedding party (and parents)with this luxury. If your budget doesn't allow for another car, your wedding party can ride with you, if you choose (a stretch Hummer is a great option). Personally, I believe the photographer should get shots of you entering the limo, and arriving at your reception, but not actually ride with you. It's nice to keep some moments personal.
I would say that depends on your budget. If you are throwing a huge all-out bash then I think a limo for your wedding party would be nice. In any case, make sure that what you do provide for all of your guests are very clear directions (a hand out as they leave the wedding venue would be nice)
Also, your photographer should ride with you in the limo, getting in after you and getting out before you do so that your departure, arrival and ride over are captured, those are wonderful moments!
