I have been photographing weddings on Kauai for 10 years, shooting over 1,000 weddings. I love weddings because you really get to see the tender side of people. Capturing those special moments that two people in love share is my passion.

I love to kayak and paddle-surf with my husband. Its a great way to enjoy being outside and get a workout. Our little dog, Boo rides along on the front of my board.

The best part of my day is the evenings; watching the sunset on the river and listening to the waves as the light changes. Our 2 eclectus parrots are extra frisky at this time of day and always entertaining.

People always ask, "Where do you go for your honeymoon if you live in Hawaii?"

Well we went somewhere cold. Colorado to be exact. The aspens were changing and the Rockies are so majestic. We took photos the whole time. Our favorite part was being able to drive for hours and hours, seeing new little towns, and interesting people, and learning the history of the places we stopped. It was great feeling the cold air and seeing different wildlife, a true getaway!
