MARRIAGE IN HAWAII

My most memorable wedding story or experience
Two California educators visited Hawaii for their quiet, romantic wedding in Hawaii. They choose Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, a beautiful location, especially if you're nature lovers. While looking for the perfect spot to share their special words, Linda the wedding minister found the perfect hole for an unexpectedly twisted wedding. My favorite past time or hobby
After my four keiki grew and went to explore the mainland, I went to work on my Mac, writing stories, enjoying the flowers and fragrance that growing in my garden. My favorite past-time is visiting my grandchildren and their parents, and getting ready for Iceland.
The one item I can't live without
I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse, but an iPod is a necessity of life. Several flavors live with me as I didn't learn fast enough that they tend to reproduce.
Awards I've received
Recognition counts, right? I've been recognized with NFIB Hawaii (Leadership Council), Kaneohe Business Group (President), Hawaii Forest Industry Association [HFIA] (Show Chairman).

Awards: Through the years, I've received various awards for one piece of art or another, because they were different.
The Very Best Award was Best Mom award from my keiki.
My favorite comfort food
I have two comfort foods:
Black-eyed Peas, and Rare Beef Pho.
My favorite movie
My favorite movie - it has to be something directed by Alfred Hitchcock, any one of them! Not so much because of the stories, but the Suspense Master's genius: the beautiful composition of each scene; the visual emotion, expressed and elicited; the thrill; the perfection....
Martin Scorsese is another film prodigy, portraying man's black core.
My honeymoon
Honeymoon was in Waikiki two years after the 1971 wedding. I was willing to wait for a honeymoon in Hawaii until Hubby was tranferred here by the Coast Guard. My father brought me to Honolulu briefly as a keiki, but since my return, for a Waikiki honeymoon, I've not left. My toes got stuck while wiggling in the sand, so we stayed.
People I'd like to meet
I would like to meet Ted Kennedy and George Bush. Should be interesting.
Dog, cat, or other
When in the second grade, a man came to my school to talk about pets. He had a skunk, and said they make wonderful pets, with their scenters removed. I've wanted one since, and may have one if ever I find myself living alone.
One thing I'd like to accomplish in life
One thing I'd like to accomplish in life is to focus on One Thing and finish it before starting something else.
One thing I want to DO is jump out of an airplane.
