Right before the ceremony began, the father of the bride came up to me and was telling me about marrying off all of his daughters. He had four daughters, and two of them were already married. You can imagine my surprise when the ceremony began that the fathers handkerchief never left his face. After the ceremony he came up to me and apologized for being so emotional and said, "it doesn't matter how many you give away, they're still your babies." It was my turn to cry.

Even though I've been slacking for a few months, I love to rock climb with my husband. It's a good sport to get into because you have to push yourself. You learn a lot about yourself when you're on that rock. I think it's a lot like getting married actually. You're on the rock and you have to trust your belayer (your husband) to save your life if you fall. You also learn that giving up is never an option.

We got married 10 years ago in Kauai. We were originally planning on getting married back home in Michigan, but there was something special about Kauai were we got engaged the year before. Our small wedding in Michigan was turning into a huge ordeal. So we eloped to Kauai instead. A few years after we got married in Hawaii, we moved to Oahu.

If I could meet a great historical leader either dead or alive, I'd choose Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi and the Dali Lama.

I love all animals, but would only have a cat in the house. They're so easy to care for and you can leave them for a week and they would be fine.

I've been really lucky in my life and have already accomplished so much. I guess I just want to be old and remember what a good life I had. Everyday is an accomplishment in my opinion.
