Wedding Vendor Profile
A multi-award winning photographer, and President of the Oahu Wedding Association, Dave Miyamoto possesses the exceptional ability of capturing the emotion and fleeting moments so true of a wedding.
With over 17 years of experience, Dave and his team of Associate Photographers and Videographers understands, and is able to anticipate and encase in photos and video footage of the wedding day as it unfolds: the anxious preparations, the intricate details, the symbolism of love, the only-on-your-wedding-day gaze of a bride and groom, and the ever present unspoken sentiments. With experience that extends from the sandbar outside of Kaneohe Bay, to churches and chapels, private estate, and hotels throughout the world, every image captures the beauty, love and hearbeat unique to each couple. Dave's ultimate desire is for you to view his images and feel the emotion.
My most memorable wedding story or experience
Always the most memorable moments for me personally is when I get to photograph couples playing in the ocean. I'm a "fish" myself, so anytime I get to shoot in shorts and slippers at the beach, or go out in the surf, and still capture uninhibited bliss from the couple, is always an awesome experience for me :)
My favorite past time or hobby
SURF, SURF....SURF!
The one item I can't live without
Surfboards! I can't live without the ocean!
Awards I've received
2007 National Registry of Business Award Winner- "Who's Who in Business" (in the United States)
2003 Pele Award Winner- Publication Excellence in Hawaii
My favorite comfort food
If I'm feeling under the weather a good bowl of Pho makes everything better!

My honeymoon
I'm engaged right now, and plan to be married in June 2009 to Michelle. My honeymoon won't happen until probably January 2010, when surf is good in Mexico, Bali, or Fiji
