I had a bride and groom that came to me and told me that the only thing that mattered was that they made it to the wedding day. The groom had had a life-threatening accident a year before, and both were focused on the important part of the wedding: spending the rest of their lives together. The reception was merely a celebration with the family, not the over-blown circus that it can sometimes be made into. I was very touched that they understood the importance of being together and the details were merely incidental to that fact.

If it's summer, I'm out on the deck enjoying the view of the waterfowl on the lake I live on. If it's winter, I'm probably inside, I hate being cold!

I have two box turtles (Ziggy and Pokey) and two tortoises (Henry and Inga). It's a good thing my boyfriend likes them; they are the pets you have for a VERY long time. They might outlive me!
