CHERISHING MOMENTS - WEDDING CONSULTANT

Thinking of getting married out of state? Never fear, were here to help and have resources all over the states.
My most memorable wedding story or experience
My most memorable wedding was a couple of years ago down in Vancouver. I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my cake vendor at the reception site when all of a sudden two other vendors showed early. I quickly touched basis with everyone before being called to the kitchen. Upon my return I noticed the cake but the vendor was no where to be found.
From a distance the cake looked absolutely gorgeous but as I drew closer it became apparent that one side was completely smashed.
To make a long story short; after coming to the realization that the bakery was not going to be able to take care of the problem before the start of the reception. I decided to move the cake table to a corner where the guests would only be able to view the cake from one angle. This along with dimming the lights a tad ended up working so well that no one ever noticed; not even the bride and groom until it came time to cut the cake.
Needless to say, the most memorable part was the following day when the bakery refunded the couples $700.
My favorite past time or hobby
One of my favorite hobbies is Yoga! I can be stressed, tired, anxiously awaiting a big wedding, you name it; Yoga always saves the day.
I can't think of a better exercise to relax your mind, body and soul every time.
The one item I can't live without
I could never live without my family! Their love and support is what makes me wake up with a smile on my face every single day.
Awards I've received
I hold certificates in wedding and event planning as well as belonging to the Association of Bridal Consultants.
My favorite comfort food
Cold Stones German Chocolate ice cream!
My favorite movie
I'm a hopeless romantic so I'd have to say "An Officer and a Gentleman", "Sleepless in Seattle" and "The Notebook" are all at the top of my list.
My honeymoon
Our honeymoon started 10 days prior to our wedding as we married in Hawaii. Upon returning from Hawaii we jumped in the car and took a week long road trip down the Oregon Coast and wound up in San Francisco. I'm not sure what was more fun; beautiful Hawaii with all of our family or camping along side the road, just the two of us.
I would certainly love to experience both trips again some day!
People I'd like to meet
Tim McGraw!
Dog, cat, or other
A Female "Akita"
She's the kids babysitter; hee! hee!
One thing I'd like to accomplish in life
I would love to take our kids on a vacation to visit their country or origin.
