Earlier this year I had a wedding at Halekulani. This experience happened while the bride was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family. Her 9 year old nephew was there too, in the wedding suite. Like all boys his age, he was running around, causing a bit of trouble, and generally being cute and a pest at the same time.

When the bride was done changing into her wedding dress, she came out of the bathroom to a room full of ooh's and ah's . She looked beautiful! Then, from the back of the room, her nephew exclaimed loudly, "WOW, when you wear your robe and show off your legs, you look exactly like Lord Voldemort (from Harry Potter)!"

That's a line I'll never forget!

You can usually find me after work taking a run around Ala Moana beach park. Sunset is my favorite time of day there. It's just starting to cool off, and it's great to take a quick run around the park, or a short swim in the water. A new sport I just got into this summer is canoe paddling. That's been an absolute blast! I'm hoping to paddle with my church team (New Hope) again next season.

It's hard to pick one favorite - I like so many. Recent movies: 300 - AWESOME CGI effects. Pirates of the Caribbean (I'm a secret Johnny Depp fan, please don't tell). Old School Favorites: Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, Serendipity.
