My most memorable wedding story or experience
I would have to say that EVERY wedding is its own story and a memorable experience. Each couple is special and unique - as are their friends and family, and I have been blessed to meet all of them and share in their very special moment.
My favorite past time or hobby
Gosh how do I pin-point a favorite pasttime or hobby? I have a love-hate affair with computers and spend way too much time on it. I love gardening (maybe that's why I love the outdoor garden/nature weddings and seeing people's backyards and gardens). Reading romance novels has always been a favorite form of escapeism - I think perhaps the weddings bring romance to life for me.
The one item I can't live without
Oh my gosh - that would be my laptop. We're joined at the hip and I take it traveling with me!
Awards I've received
I'm not one to seek out fame and glory so tend to shy away from participating in awards programs.
My favorite comfort food
Hands down - dark chocolate. And, of course, I don't say no to a little caramel and nuts to go with it.
My favorite movie
Favorite movie is tough. I have several so I guess its the one I'm watching at any given moment. The Harry Potter series, of course, John Wayne. And the romantic comedy genre. Anything that makes me laugh (Wild Hogs, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Gidget. . .)
My honeymoon
Unfortunately, I've never had a honeymoon. My partner, Denny, and I like to vacation in Mexico at least once a year. I think I could become a beach bum!
People I'd like to meet
I want to meet my wedding couples in 50 years and have them tell me they're still married! I'm not into star searching - everyone is a star to me! I have met important people in the past, and find I prefer to meet "real" people.
Dog, cat, or other
My cat of 13 years, Max, passed away Labor Day weekend, 2007. I can't believe how much I miss him. A long haired stray moved in a couple months prior and has been adopted into the family. We named him Harry. Our other cat, Graybeard, still hasn't decided whether or not he likes Harry, but they're tolerating each other.
One thing I'd like to accomplish in life
I would like to retire - yet I can't stand not having anything to do!
