In 2005 we ran a half page black & white advertisement in the spring issue of Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine.(b/w beach bride photo in our listing) This is when I conceived the idea of these feather banners for weddings. The intent was to attract rental stores, wedding planners, designers and alike. We succeeded in our efforts with our business to business clients. However, the phone rang for a solid three months as thousands of brides wanted the banners in their wedding. That was the beginning of The Wind Visuals Rental Network which now has more than 250 locations worldwide. If you cannot find a rental location in your area, simply show this listing to your rental store or wedding designer and ask them to give us a call. 877.560.9817
My most memorable wedding story or experience
In January 2009 I was contacted via email by a bride that had seen our wedding feather banners on a photographer's website in southwest Florida.(Sanabel Island)She had relentlessly searched the internet and finally found me, Pete Foy, the founder of Wind Visuals. I happened to be on vacation in Florida and the dialogue began. She absolutely had to have these banners in her July 4th wedding and reception along the shores of the Caloosahatchee River in Ft. Myers, Florida. She had rented a 6 acre $12 million estate for the wedding weekend. The lighted photos posted in our listing are the fruits of her incredible efforts.
